Hi Bro, Been awhile and so glad to see this upload. Good catch too, 2 barras and an enjoyable day at P.Ubin! Otters are now a common sighting in many waterways on the mainland n reckon, their population may have increased!

Thks again Bro... Have been observing S'pore Otters for many yrs, now they're commonly seen @ allover the places S'pore, already very adapted to urban life, n become a wonder miracle of the world as City Otters. I believe they're started from P.Ubin as their home-land more than 20 yrs ago, moving west along coastlines to Marina South n Pasir Ris, n then occupy the entire mainland S'pore now. I think, now the hit of S'pore Otters story is the Climenti Otter Family. I saw a new report last yr mentioned the S'pore Otters' population has gone up to 300+ size. Happy living...

@@lovefish6461 Hi Bro, The Clementi Otter Family......those along the Ulu Pandan Canal? If so, have seen them when I was staying at Sunset Way, abt 3 yrs ago.Then, there were only 3-4 of them. Won't their presence in P. Ubin chases the barras or other fishes from the fishing spots? Have a good day, bro!

Clamenti otter family now is the strength of 15 otters. There's another Pandan family of 6 otters living @ Pandan Reservoir, always encounter them when RC boating on wk end activity there. I think, the otter families will be geting more n more, good things for the animal lover. To my standard, a place is only when good for all animals to thriving then is considered as the heavenly world. Happy living...

How much the live prawn cost per 100/g,and what kind of prawn is that?

Is $30 per kg. Usually I'll buy $10 (300gm) for overnight barra fishing w 2 rods. The prawn is normal local white shrimp, can be found all over the coastal singapore.

To my pace is about 8 mins walking distance fr jetty to sensory beach, just follow the sensory trail route n keep to u right @ juntion. There's 2 fishing spots, left to the payou area and right to the hidden beach surrounded by reefs. Happy barra fishing...

Go to the Changi Village, there're 3 fishing tackles shops just beside the hawker center in line. If I'm fishing @ S'pore east area, usually I'll come here bcz I can compare the prawns condition before buying. You can buy the live prawn from Pasir Ris fishing pond's tackles shop n takeaway also. To buy live prawn @ the central area, you can go to the tackles shop beside the Yishun MRT station, just walk across the big basketball court about 100m, you'll see this small shop selling the live prawn. Happy barra fishing...
