ubiquiti Bullet M2 Configuration

Configuration of ubiquiti bullet m2 for wifi access. Also using an Omni Antenna. Ensure Airmax is Disabled to allow other devices to connect. Using TPlink Omni Antenna. Demonstrating the basic configuration needed to allow Wifi access.

Nice video but in some places you speak too fast and am not able to understand what you're saying. In the beginning you run through a number so fast I had to listen 3 times to get it. Otherwise good video, very useful

I have covered well over 500 Meters with it in all direction and have also used it as a Accesspoint along with a client device M2 well over 1000 Meters. Remember wireless signal depends on obstruction.

Thank you for the information! For some reason, when I turned AirMax off and went to connect. My phone attempted to connect but said “no internet” even when right beside the M2. Any idea how to fix this?

Hey, I have the bullet M2 but anytime I finish the configuration like this the internet is not stable and I cant cover the 50km radius that I could get using the TP-Link Omnidirectional antenna. Kindly add a video of how to set this up as an AP repeater. Thank you.

@Loonytoones85 is right. Must used a directional Antenna to get long distance Point to point. probably way less than than 50 km. More like 5 km depending on line of sight and fresnal zone.

these have REALLY poor performance/speed/range. The no name chinese ones are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better
