Keep pumping these out! It seems like you read my mind on what I dont understand fully. Have you discussed 160MHz channel width in 6GHz yet? Also whats up with STP vs RSTP - should I even use these? Currently my global switch settings are on STP but I'm not sure if I set that or if its the default :D From my reading RSTP is superior/faster.

RSTP is default and should be used. Its recommended not to disable Spanning Tree protocol (when you dont have a specific reason).

I do have a video for 160MHz channel width, but it's for 5GHz. In my video for U7-Pro-Max, I did test WiFi7. Regarding RSTP vs STP, let me add it to my backlog. When it comes to whether you should use it, yes as @ra-sal-ghul answered, you should not disable it without knowing what you are doing.

IPV6 is an area that I have not covered yet, mainly because my ISP does not support it so I don't have a complete environment to start with.

Nice, just got a USW-Enterprise-8-PoE, I'm now using only L2 features with a LACP to my third party gateway (pfSense SG-4100 appliance). As soon as I have some time, I'll try the L3 feature. I wonder if I can route some networks to my NAS only, with some ACLs allowing only some devices to connect to the NAS TCP ports.

Yes you can. That's what ACL is for.

Apologies if i missed it in the video, it's great, but I'm still very confused of a particular use-case the diagram you show doesn't cover. I have two devices UCG-Max gateway and US-XG-6-POE L3 downstream. Upstairs is [ucg-max, u7-pro, flex-xg-lite (l2)] and downstairs [us-xg-6-poe, u7-pro, usw-aggregation]. So main issue when you need to have HOST port or WIFI on a downstream VLAN it doesn't work for me. a) when vlan is set UPSTAIRS on uxg-max, BOTH ap can serve dhcp and access to vlan, b) when vlan is set DOWNSTAIRS on us-xg-6-poe, then ap downstairs works, but ap upstairs cannot get ip. c) when i have vlan set downstairs and plug in a host on that vlan upstairs on a native port for that vlan, it doesn't work - i had to create a SEPARATE upstairs only vlan for that device. So my L3 routing works as long as they are on gateway or isolated between segments but same VLAN cannot have devices on other segment for me if it is using the downstream as gateway. :( Do you have any advice?

Sorry but even though you already described the issue in a very detailed way, I still cannot completely understand the situation. Is the issue about DHCP or routing?
