Thanks for the feedback. Besides the very rich oscillators in the Buchla the sound is made up of Eventide Black Hole + some pitch shifting & delay for the higher harmonics in the reverb. :D

Eventide Black Hole + using pitch shifter set to both a 5th and an octave to give the crystal echo's type effect to it :D

Hey Jonathan, I'm running this into my own custom 'crystal' effect which is made up of Eventide Black Hole reverb + a Pitch shifter set to +12 (octave) then using Eventide Band effects to modulate then adding some simulated tape echo to the whole thing :D Buchla is a great world, mind bending to get your head around at first but it all makes sense once you get the thought process.. quite different to eurorack :D

Sometimes Buchla sell them cheaper with visually defective touch keyboards (they work fine , just look a little rough), still an expensive toy. The Make Noise 0 Coast seems to be a good bang for the buck replacement, check it out :D

There is a complexity even in the squarewave that sounds wonderful, but a real difficult instrument to fit into a mix with non-Buchla :D

+antigen4 Hi there , This Easel I purchased, When I started with the build of the 208r the Aussie Dollar collapsed against the US and the cost of the build almost doubled in a few months. I will get back to it as I still have the boards.. but for the moment its on hold :(

The hardware for sure has a different and bigger sound (much more harmonically rich sounding even on a plane squarewave) but the Arturia version is pretty close :D I did a patching video with the Arturia version and enjoyed using it :D
