The not playing games thing is 100% truth. They just keep name dropping Ghosts of Tsushima because they don’t play games and have no opinion of their own. Rise of Ronin just came out. Like A Dragon Inshin been out for awhile. Way of the Samurai has like 4 games on PS2 and PS3. But they all say the same lame comment of Temu Ghosts of Tsushima, Wish Ghosts of Tsushima because they don’t play anything. They just hop on the bandwagon of what’s popular. And most didn’t play Ghosts of Tsushima all the way through once. But then act like they’re going to play that same damn game until part 2 comes out. Which they likely won’t play either.

The problem is we even have proprietary consoles in the first place. If Xbox and Sony focused solely on game studios and not exclusive platform only consoles and we got a universal standard of consoles (like how Intel and AMD have their motherboards) we would get higher quality games across the board because studios would be making games for everyone and optimizing on the same hardware. Then the businesses wouldn't have to eat losses on console manufacturing either.

My first M rated game was Mortal Kombat, which I traded with my friend for a NBA game and I enjoyed it and my mom found out I was playing it and took it for (at the time) I had no clue. Like a week later she gave it back to me letting me know I can play it, but she's not cool with me playing ultra violent games, but know I had enough commonsense to not do anything stupid and separate games from reality and wouldn't do anything dangerous. There have been a couple of games worth it, but most games are boring as hell. Just pretty. Due console being boring this gen, i bought a bunch of pc parts and will build my pc this month

They need to find a way to integrate current ai into npcs to make them better. Gta 5/rdr2 npcs should almost be standard by now.

People want that, but do not want to wait for it to happen. They want rdr2 level games but ignore that it took 5 years just to record all the dialogue in that game. People complain when it takes a game 4 years to get made.. 😂

One aspect I think your missing from Sonys lack of sales is that they spent two whole ass years selling to scalpers instead of actual customers. We couldn’t get our hands on ps5’s so a lot of people moved on to other platforms that. Could actually deliver product. Maybe next time don’t should figure out a way to protect its customers from scalpers

Nobody was delivering during that time my brother. It was a chip shortage on top of crazy delays in manufacturing and shipping due to Covid.
