However, they have not made major changes despite having released more than 15 Assassin's Creed games. They still have the opportunity to make the game more unique by incorporating new tools and mechanics that would significantly alter the gameplay while staying true to the essence of the Assassin's Creed series. Although parkour has returned, the mechanics associated with it have not been improved. Parkour remains a simple one-button action, which is even inferior to the parkour mechanics present in Assassin's Creed 1. In contrast, the gameplay mechanics in Assassin's Creed: Revelations were greatly enhanced and introduced fresh, innovative elements compared to Assassin's Creed: Mirage. It's puzzling why they are not leveraging their substantial budget, pre-existing gameplay assets from previous games, and their wealth of experience in creating this type of game.

why would the Levantine brotherhood have a statue of the mentor of the Roman brotherhood...? If anything, they'd be more likely to have a statue of Darius because he's from a significantly closer region. Not to mention, the *same* statue as it appears in AC2? We have statues that were sculpted in the late 1400s that have only survived as well as they have because they were kept in air tight rooms. People devoted their lives to the upkeep of one singular statue. You're talking about a statue that would be at least 600 years old, have been transported a minimum of 4,399 kilometers (and that's using today's measurements with highways designed to be the most efficient path from point A to B). Not only is it unrealistic to expect them to have a statue of an Assassin that branch of the brotherhood would have never interacted with, its absurd to think it could be the same statue that appears in AC2 when the standards for the upkeep of statues were pretty much non-existent until the Renaissance.

The sense of danger is part of the thrill of playing an Assassin and when you can just mow down your enemies without effort there's no real incentive to be strategic. I also hope Basim's finished character model will be reminiscent of his original design in Valhalla, as for now he doesn't exactly resemble him and his face is so very recognisable it should be done right. Me too, but unimpressed with yet more pushing of female eivor. Sell a choice, and then you must respect it. The game looks awesome, but it's the last I buy. I was in the process of making my own KZbin channel. Where I'd show builds and history mixed in with assassin's creed. In preparation for Mirage, I planned to make a "how to fight like an assassin in valhalla" and a "historically accurate berserker" build videos. But the story makes no sense. I have been waiting weeks and weeks for ubisoft to fix misgendering in game (thay told me they would look into it and get back to me) and the "fsns" always call you names if you say you don't like the female leads forced on you when it's sold as a choice. As if me saying kassandra and female eivor are bad means I hate all women.... and to top it off ubisoft under the guise of cannon only use female eivor and kassandra but make room for aya and evie but not odin and even when it's cannon odin is make in dawn of ragnarok thay stream it with female eivor and show pictures with female eivor. Ubisoft changed all the pictures on xbox store to female eivor but still had a 50 50 split on dawn of ragnarok. And just didn't include alexios players or male eivor players in the anniversary yet made room again for aya and used evie with no Jacob..... This company deserves its failure. I'll get Mirage because it's a bone that chucked us. But I'm done with Assassin's creed moving forward.

I think this game is a step in the right direction of an assassins creed revival . It’s built on the bones of Valhalla this is clear, and I hope that the changes they have made will fix it. If this goes well, maybe Ubisoft will get the message and have another stab at REAL Assassins Creed. I don’t think we are quite there yet, but maybe I’ll be wrong in October.

The ultimate Assassin was Desmond.
@abdurrehmanali7 Жыл бұрын
Desmond is a modern assassin. And I love him. However…no assassin has ever done more for the Order or so much in one lifetime…than Altair Ibn La Ahad. He was a Master Assassin at 24-25…Grandmaster/Mentor at 26….began Assassin’s training at age 9 and died protecting the Apple of Eden alone at 92 years of age. Wrote Codex pages that helped Ezio became the assassin he became…left a legacy so lasting and impactful that his name is taken in reverence even by the modern day Assassin’s. I know Desmond literally sacrificed himself to save the planet…but none of that would’ve been possible without Altair saving the Order and leaving instructions for him.
@SpectreStatus Жыл бұрын
@@abdurrehmanali7 Yes, Altair is revered and has done a lot, but skill-wise, Desmond has the upper hand from the bleeding effect. He has Ezio and Connor's skills on top of Altair's. So I don't think anyone is as good as him.

@@SpectreStatusTrue story... I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of the people commenting are younger fans, and the "Bleeding effect" isn't touched on, pretty much at all in the newer titles. Which is kinda crazy come to think of it, because a huge plot point of the earlier games was that Desmond needed to learn the skills of his Master Assassin ancestors to be prepared to take on the templars.. and the fact that with the bleeding effect he could learn what took his ancestors a lifetime in only a few days.

It seems that you could combine linear progression and RPG(multiverse Timeline branching building progression). Like from each individual branched out Timeline that you create through combination of rpg gameplay and linear strong storytelling/storyline (history to Alternative history scenarios) progression takes over until you reach another opponrtunity for Timeline branching then linear strong storytelling/storyline progression comes back into play and it goes back and forth between the two. It simply seems to me without that it would be difficult to have Assassin's Creed infinity fully completely thoroughly work since it might not truly be Assassin's Creed Infinity.

When I see the combat here it just looks like Origins and the rest of the new AC without the RPG progression or lvls. Im hoping to either be able to remove the health bars and hide that UI or something. Just let me flow through combat and feel like im cutting people down with ease again. Also, why the powers, i thought we were getting an emphasis on stealth and assassinations again. Isn’t the teleport just like the one in AC Odyssey?
