It's in base game, it's not a mod. You can play on easy also in first person only

@@budgetmuffin I´m a little late, I know: Seemed to me like a 10km Radius around your actual Position, where randomly the estimated position will be marked. You can test it yourself: Take your position with the Sextant, then set course on 0° (North) and draw a line from the marked (sextant) position on the map straight north. Hit the "Estimated Position" knob a dozen times and measure the deviation from the drawn north line.
