The scene with the ladies is a reference from an iconic photo of Congolese school girls taken by the photographer, Eliot Elisofon in 1972. Stellar job she did on this, one of her best.

I'm disappointed in this reaction but I understand none of you studied music. This particular video; the Aesthetics, the deep symbolism, the storytelling alone is 11/10. This video epitomizes why Nigerian music continues to dominate the music industry. You can see the extra effort to put to convey her message. Charis Ayuk forget mean, they are hella ignorant! They reacted to Reniss’s song - Dans La Sauce which is similar to Tiwa’s 49-99 because it addresses multiple issues (societal, economical, and religious) and these individuals sat there and gave the most ignorant review I’ve ever seen. Worst considering there’s a Cameroonian among them. I don’t expect them to get everything right (they never do) but being blatantly ignorant and dismissive (as they typically are) is so not commendable as well.

I agree with you. I’ve learnt not to take their reviews serious, they are only intrigued and impressed by good beats and how colorful or sexy a video looks.
