How does it play at the moment? I played for a good few hours when the game was released, however matchmaking was a bit slow and it kept repeating the same map!!

Matchmaking is still slow. Pretty sure that's ND algorithms and matchmaking. A lot less like to repeat maps though.

Last of Us lobbies were slow too. That being said, UC4 lobbies are slightly more balanced than other games and experience less lag than many other games. Maybe that's because more "thought" (server processing) goes into starting a game. Not always --- but usually.

I agree. I have tried both the xcr and p90 blindfire mods extensively, and found the xcr to win everytime.

Isn't horizontal recoil (or horizontal deviation) which is mitigated by more by the accuracy mod, far harder to control or compensate for as compared to vertical recoil? Wouldn't this make the accuracy mod better in most cases as long as you can compensate? Do a test where you attempt to control the recoil on each gun with and without the mod and look at the bullet grouping then.

It's going to depend on the gun. Different guns have different spread and recoil patterns. But I will try to give that a test.

I would personally prefer Recoil over Accuracy any day sure you'll miss some bullets but it's not kicking like a horse on drugs... BTW informative video bro can't believe you actually timed the fire rates for every gun lol...

Yeah, Recoil is definitely superior. Except maybe the MP34A... the kick is so light on that gun anyway that more shots to center would be best. Would work great on the AK but it's not an available mod. And thanks --- I gave your P90 advice a mention too. Good stuff.

I've put out some revised stats based on feedback directly from Naughty Dog. Most guns didn't see much change, but the XCR, P90 and Copperhead were adjusted. The actual fastest TTK is the Copperhead at 0.71 seconds --- followed by the XCR and the P-90 tied at 0.72 seconds and then the MP34A at 0.73 seconds. So the best gun would depend on range and scenario. Blindfiring and within 10 meters ... then yeah, the XCR would be best. What are your sensitivity settings? I am finding it hard to stick to targets

I use 3 or 4 ... but I always have used lower sensitivities than most players. Especially in UC4, I'm just able to manage recoil better - even if I am sacrificing turn speed. There's really no right or wrong answer. It's really up to you -

3 for aiming and 10 for camera, that's what I use
