1. Don't get intimated. 2. Since every question is one mark, flag, guess and go! Put all of your attention on the simple questions 3. Use the online calculator. Be extra cautious for the typos and try to use the keypad on your keyboard 4. Mental Maths - Cube and Square Numbers, Multiplications up to 15. You are given a whiteboard and pen. Use it! 5. Do not overcomplicate. It is problem solving at GCSE Level. 6. Convert at the end (take the easier route) 7. Elimate Answers or guess if your able too. 8. Double Check on what the question asks for i.e round to the whole number 9. Be careful when reading graphs i.e looking at the scale 10. Don't be discouraged but also don't neglect your weaknesses! 11. Practise under timed conditions but try your best to avoid rushing.

Hey Sharmin, yes I did use Medify quite a lot! And yes I do think the Qs were similar to the real exam- definitely the most accurate of all the other resources I used, eg. the “Get Into Medical School 1250 UKCAT Questions” by iscMedical which I found to be a lot harder than the real exam

I have 24 days until my UCAT exam and I just did a mock test on Medify and got 630 (not great!). Should I be worried and do you think I can still get a score of at least 700 before the big day? Any tips??

I S M A I L absolutely not! 630 is definitely not a bad score at this stage and I promise you the more practice you do the better you’ll get. But honestly with 24 days to go you’re on the right track for sure!! I was scoring much lower at this stage when I was revising hahaha so please don’t stress and don’t get too caught up on numbers- try and focus your attention more on learning from your mistakes to prevent repeating them.
