Here's a walkthrough of calibrating the Land Pride 3p500v seed drill so that you get the proper seeding rate out of the machine.

I own a 3P500 and find the info here quite useful. Tho.....I use 42 turns of the crank to go 100 feet......and then use 100 x 4.5" wide to calculate that % of an acre and do that math....but I do catch the seeds from all of my 7 drop tubes with some long shallow plastic tubs below the disks....thus catching all the seeds. Less cranking. Good video.

Thanks for this, hard to find a video on this unit! Any reason you went with the V vs. the standard? Positive experience with this machine?

This drill is owned by the Underwood Conservation District and I think it was just the drill they were able to find locally. We have a lot of vineyards around here who make good use of it. In the few years it’s been around, it has worked well and hasn’t really had any maintenance issues that I’m aware of.

Great Video ! Do you know of any no-tll drills around half the size ? I have an orchard and need a smaller machine. I've been searching online for a long time but with no luck. Thanks
