Hall catapulted to 2nd in Big-12 scoring. Also, JJ played 27 minutes and nearly had a double-double after averaging 5 to 10 minutes playing time for this freshman who hadn't sunk a 3 for weeks. A star was born and Hall upped his chances for the NBA. In both Arizona games, the squad crashed the boards better than any time this season. And averaged 87.5 points, well above their average, too. Mikey playing much better, too. This team is surprising its conference opponents consistently. Sadly, Knights play top 10 Houston and Iowa State next, but we hope this new success carries over vs. these two well-coached, defensive opponents.

UCF is already to be projected into the tournament by some bracketologists. Jerry Palm has them as a 9 seed, but Joe Lunardi has them as one of the first teams out. So it definitely varies based on analysts, but I wouldn't say they NEED a massive top 10 win but it would certainly be very helpful.
