Excellent idea Dakota! Create a bed skirt with curtains and tension rod, genius!! I'll make note of this for when my freshman daughter moves in Fall 2021, UCF. It'll be easier for her to access under-bed storage and not have to fuss with a bed skirt.

This is my dream college right now and I'm really hoping to get in although, I'm just a freshman in high school lol, but I was wondering what else I can do to put myself on the right track to getting in, I'm in a sport, keep my grades up, I'm in band , and I'm planning on getting into clubs in my future years is there anything else or anything I should change, just any advice please lol, oh and I live out of state which was a concern

If you get good grades, then UCF sometimes offers out of state waivers where you will get in state tuition rates. I recommend buying the act black book and studying really hard for the act or sat. This book helped me increase my score by 9 points. I’m not entirely sure if they are requiring this anymore. I would start to get to know your teachers and let them know you so you can ask for recommendation letters!

hi again! lol. Ill be in florida for the upcoming fall semester. im seeing a lot of dorm videos on youtube for UCf, and all the buildings and rooms look different, are there many different options for students? whats the most common, and whats considered the best?

Hey! The most common one is libra which is one of the cheapest. The one that is considered the best is towers and neptune

hiii! I’m a senior in high school this year and am looking at going to UCF! is it super hard to get in? I mean I’m a pretty good student- I have a 4.0 gpa, am in 4 NHSs, president of a club- stuff like that. but I’m worried I’m gonna get my hopes up and not end up getting in (I’m also out of state). do you have any thoughts or advice for me? xx

Hi!! Sounds like you are on a good track to get in! Ucf values out of state and trys to have multiple people from each state. If you have a 4.0 and are involved in multiple clubs that already looks good. I got a 29 on my act and was admitted. Some advice I can give is have multiple people read your essay for admission. This helped me immensely with getting different peoples point of view. Dont rush your application! Really sit down and take a whole day where you have no plans to complete. I would start asking some of your teachers for recommendations now that way when the time comes you can put their information down. Hope this helped! Let me know if you have anymore questions!
