If the NCAA won't allow these kids to be paid, there should at least be some type of injury protection. Almost like life insurance provided by the school. If you suffer a career ending injury you get $250,000 for example. Nothing close to what they could've made in the NFL, but its something

@dj_gflow6 жыл бұрын
@@djdjsjdhbd8092 a degree doesn't guarantee a good job. A lot of ppl with degrees are working in restaurants. But if he got drafted he was guaranteed 6 or 7 figures right out of college but now his leg is tucked up, they will pull his scholarship if he can't play and the university will continue making millions off the backs of these kids
@djdjsjdhbd80926 жыл бұрын
Faheem Goree I never said that it guaranteed a $80k+ a year job. Obviously you still have to do research and find those kinds of jobs, but you wouldn’t get them without having a degree to show some sort of knowledge in that field. As for losing you scholarship, if you’re a good student the University may be able to offer an Academic Scholarship.

Couple of things that really touched my heart...His entire team came off the sideline, gathered across the field around him in support...Shows what a great leader he IS and his team was there for him...Also, the entire crowd (game was played at the opposing team USF's home field) and their entire crowd showed alot of love as they carried him off...I read recently that he has a 50/50 chance of playing this upcoming season...Nothing would please me more than watching him fulfill his dream and make it to the NFL...Such a talented young man with a bright future ahead of him...Best of luck and prayers sent for him getting back on that field and staying healthy.

If UCF played Alabama before the Milton injury time, they would of still lost(this year at least, maybe not last), but you have too respect a program that gets only about 50 million in athletics a year, while Alabama makes and spends almost 200 million. You give Alabama a budget of 50 million a year, and they wouldnt be anything close to the powerhouse they are today. UCF deserves credit for being in my opinion a top 6-7 team in the nation. Really unfortunate the injury for the team, and really for Milton as he was a nice enough guy. Dont go shoving the whole "i bet you cant beat me now" when the kid might of just had his career ended. Send your thoughts out to the player, and focus on his speedy recovery.

J. Robertson teams will pass sadly, he’s a great quarterback. But teams need a guarantee on how well they can play without any limitations because of a old injury. If that makes sense

Hey it was bound to happened when they have to change the rules this year for no helmet to helmet contact considering targeting. Either that or break something else from other part of the body. Save the brain or damage the limbs it's your choice.

Why run your QB?

He threw an ugly interception and his passer rating is not in the top-10.
@mattmoschkau28316 жыл бұрын
It’s just the game. In college the DEs are still slow enough that a running quarterback adds dimension and helps score. In the NFL the DEs are fast, so a quarterback has to work from the pocket or have speed like a WR to get out and run.

You're an idiot. You cant hit the qb high, and you cant just stand there and hug him because you'll never get him down. So you gotta go low and it just happened that he hit his plant leg. Its football. Leg injuries will happen more and more because of stupid rules
@G_GO0NO6 жыл бұрын
Not a cheap shot, players being taught to hit low on a QB so they dont get a flag
@Mike1sc6 жыл бұрын
Lets face it, the target has narrowed where a defensive player can hit. As horrible of an injury as this was, I didn't look at it as a cheap shot but instead it got crowded over by the sideline and as he was tackled his leg got caught on another player already down. Prayers for this young man. Hopefully he can make a good recovery, but it looked pretty bad.
