the choreographer must go to extraordinary lengths, the attention to the smallest detail, firstly checking out the venue to calculate the space, then making major adjustments to the original choreography to ensure the girls don't fall over each other in such a small space. then the girls have to learn essentially new steps and with a smaller group. i've seen this song performed by them many times, first on AGT, with i believe the original 19 girls, then as time progressed i started to see some minor changes from one show to the next, and kept having to go back and compare with a previous show, and other times some fairly big changes. it makes the routines more interesting i think, instead of saying "i've already seen this song danced to before" you try and spot the changes, did they do this with their hands before, those steps are new.
