Lesson from this movie is a lot of people stay in emotionally and physically abusive relationships and marriages way too long where they are no longer loved or needed. Sometimes walking away from an abusive relationship/marriage is the best self-love move a person can make. Great movie and storyline!

very touching story. I love seeing Uche stretch out like this. It's a joy to see Heavenly perform. Though I wasn't happy with her initial rudeness, it wasn't her fault that she was spoiled; and her father did made sincere efforts to correct her, which she took to heart. Miwa (all the women in this movie are gorgeous including the little girl) played her role with wisdom, love, and tenderness. Once Bryan gets more comfortable on screen, his relaxed state will allow him to emote more. He wasn't bad and he played his character fairly well. As for Martins-Callistus, he really played his role because I couldn't stop calling him "you peeg!" (in my best Chinenye Ulaegbu voice) What a despicable beast! I couldn't imagine why Onyiye loved him to begin with; and the situation drove home the importance of women having some financial independence and wherewithal in their marriages to avoid feeling impossibly attached to such "a beastly peeg!" Beautiful theme song, both the composition itself and the performance. Kudos Michelle Chinonso! As always, salute to our Uchenna Mbunabo. You bring us pride and joy. Sorry for my weak punctuation lol. I hope the comment is readable.

I love this movie. I love it from the beginning to the end. So glad it ended with her leaving her abusive cheating on her husband. Sometimes you got to stand up to them. My husband knew not to hit me when we were married. 🙄We are queens and we should be treated like one. He probably would have abuse their daughter too. You reap what you sow. I am glad she got that message about his affair and his other kids. He thought he was going to get that money and leave town, but God fixed that, to God be all the Glory.
