@@2k_Unknown no he didn't, there were 2 reasons to y he left, number 1 being that he left to infiltrate Orochimaru's base and kill him and number 2 was to get stronger by learning from Orochimaru and kill Itachi, however after the battle with Itachi and finding out the truth about him, he couldn't deal with the lies that were surrounded throughout his entire life, and the amount of stuff the leaf village did is like calling them the USA, the village literally outcasted his family and he could not deal with the fact that his own brother had no choice but to go with 2 options, either side with the village, or his family, these two the leaf gave him and nothing else, so he went with saving his brother by killing their parents and Sasuke could not handle with the fact that the leaf did not give them any other choice. Honestly, if there was no hate for Sasuke, he would be one of the top 5 best characters in my opinion. I mean he did take the path but it was to kill itachi and he realised that a sannin was interested in his body so he seduced him by making him believe that he will actually have his body so he learned under him and he killed him

Not once throughout all of Shippuden did Sasuke use that nickname because it oddly became somewhat of a term between bickering friends. So Sasuke saying it at the very end basically was all Naruto needed to know that Sasuke's finally back.
