Synopsis
In Kyoto, there are three kinds of residents: humans, tanuki, and tengu. Shimogamo Yasaburou is the third son of the Shimogamo tanuki family. His father, Souichirou, had been the head of Kyoto tanuki community until he was eaten by the human members of "Friday Club". While taking care of an old tengu, fighting with other tanuki, and playing with a psychic human girl, Yasaburou approaches the truth of his father's death.

There's so many errors with the subtitles here... Like "you can't fly anymore". Yasaburou wasn't talking about Benten at that part.

This was the shittiest anime I ever watched. HOly shit is it badly written and developed the story and characters make absolutely so sense to a point where it will drive you mad making you say what the fuck are they thinking.

it's a bit late but this is one of the best anime ever made. it's much more than just Tanukis. it artistically depicts animal community, and way of life. it shows what it would be like to be at the bottom of the food chain, and yet still capture the silver lining and how to still be free and have fun with life. this show is a work of art.
