Zach, you are aware that at the end of the season, Mack was playing on one leg. I wouldn't dismiss him.

Mack still has the highest ceiling of basically all the guards and is still my favorite to start at the 2.

Injuries aside, there is still much for Mack to improve (as there are for all the Bruins, new and returning)!

Mack has to learn to play within himself. He also has to develop his run and shoot game... big-time. He has the athletic ability to get to anywhere on the court by dribbling there... but to this point he insists on driving to the basket in heavy traffic... mostly looking for a foul. Opposing defenses know what he's going to do so it's easy to guard him. Drive to the basket and pull up to shoot from different ranges. Also... catch and shoot from the 3 and other places. Tons to work on. Tons of ability. Get control. Develop skills.

Pac12 was always good, often the top BB conference top to bottom, and 2 of 3 years the media pretends they arent. Looking forward to playing the overrated big 10.

There appears to be a lot of talent. It'll be interesting. All of the travel to Big 10 destinations is concerning. It's a different brand of ball.

UCLA will alright in an overrated Big Ten. Cronin has the right brand of basketball for that conference.

The best player UCLA got in the Portal was Kobe Johnson from USC...Kobe was an average player on a terrible team...in Fact Kobe was benched diring the season...If Kobe is the best new player being brought in I dont understand all the excitement...

Don’t sleep on Kobe. He had a disappointing season from an offensive standpoint but still has a ton of potential as a playmaker and scorer and is already an all league defender. But it is fair to temper expectations from most of the transfers that were average players on bad teams. I like Bilodeau though and Skyy/Harris should give an offensive spark off the bench. I am concerned about another 6’8 guy starting at center since Mara probably won’t be ready to play more than 20 minutes a game.
