I am so happy to see Ohashi have such an excellent time in NCAA after having such a crappy time in the later part of her elite career.

Ed Russell- my name is leighton and you shouldn’t have a problem with that it’s a normal name. I asked a question politely and was hoping for an answer. But I guess there are no nice people out there any more. Im 11 so back off

7:18 kylas routine wasn’t a 10 , on her maloney , her legs separated , and her final handstand was short . madison kocians also wasn’t really either.
@lnisme02954 жыл бұрын
the thing is the judges sit on the side and often cant tell if there is a leg separation or not, also given the camera angle it looks like she is short on the last handstand but i dont think she was, but even if she was a tiny bit short as long as they are within 15 degrees of being totally straight its counted as a perfect handstand
@claromepa45824 жыл бұрын
this is also collegiate gymnastics and the judges only see the routine from one perspective

Did Miss Ohashi & Miss Ross do the same routine on beam? They look identical to me. I'm talking out of school but I've always thought each girl has her own🤷🏻♀️

is Katelyn eligible to try out for the 2020 Olympic team? I don't know what the requirements are or how hierarchies work in gymnastics, but it'd be interesting to see how her viral routines translate to the Olympic stage :)
@JennaLeigh5 жыл бұрын
Collegiate difficulty is significantly lower than the elite level. She's one who has done incredibly well in elite in the past, but she'd have to ramp up the difficulty in every routine- something I don't know she wants to do. Sadly her viral floor routines likely would not happen on the Olympic stage- a few elite/fellow elite gymnasts have commented that they aren't allowed to show that much personality.... elites are supposed to be "polished and serious"..... I'd love to see her get olympic medals...but idk how likely that really is.
@lnisme02954 жыл бұрын
she would never go back to elite gymnastics after the torment and emotional abuse she had to deal with during her elite days sadly

What didn't I see... There is no way in hell what I saw was a perfect 10. She stuck the landing, I've seen much harder routines executed beautifully that didn't give a perfect 10. I think Judges are getting soft.
@Sunflower_vally3 жыл бұрын
Their was more than one routine so please specify what routine? And they compete for once a wekk for 10 weeks in a row of and trains only 4 hours a day with rest days. Of course they're routines will be easier than elite. And they're form was incredible. Not to mention peng has an extremely hard bar routine and katelyn with one of her many beam routines. Before she retired from elite she was able to do one of if not the hardest beam routine in the world and if was a few months older would've been on the 2012 Olympic team instead of gabby for sure!
