Great match (minus the girl screaming on every play). GCU looked lackluster in their matches a couple of weeks ago but they played great tonight and the match could've gone either way. Speraw looked angry and cycled through his players :)

True, but Speraw's depth vs Charlie Wade's lack of depth is a main reason why UCLA beat UH in the championship last year

@@calvinschoonover5699 UH libero (now the setter at UCI, which lost to LB) was the main reason that UH lost last year. That falls on Wade for having him as the libero & for the player to not be respectful enough for the team to admit that he's a crap defensive player. So many times he just didn't dive, read or move to keep the play going.

What's so incredible about him that apart from being 2m tall he can mad jump as well. He also has an incredible serve. Considering that Speraw is coaching the national team as well, Smith is getting old and Jendryk is not performing so consistently anymore I have a feeling we'll see McHenry sooner rather than later.

I can’t believe either GCU, UCI or HAW will not make the championship tourney because there’s only 8 spots and two D2 conference champs get in.

@@ManoahPaschall 8 teams make the tourney. 6 of them are conference champions (2 west, 1 midwest, 1 east, 2 D2). 2 additional teams are invited. The top 5 ranked teams are all in the west. Only 4 western teams will make it (2 west conf champs and 2 invited teams). So one top 5 team will not make the tourney.

@@ManoahPaschall I agree 100%. UCI is talented enough to win the whole thing so it would be crazy if they don’t go. GCU isn’t good enough. Without Chakas, Hawaii would have a tough time in the semifinals because Keoni is 6’0” and Louis is so young. They need to expand it to 16 teams.

#18 Grant Sloane has been playing really well. I saw him play live and he is closer to 6’9”. He’s huge. Ido looks awkward playing back row sometimes. That said, I wish Ido played more. His connection with Rowan has been so incredible.
