hey hey! for the specific residential hall-- it doesnt really matter! theyll be social regardless:) you could narrow it down by doing research on the dining halls or study spaces that are available and maybe that'll sway you one way. regarding learning communities i truly have no info on those:// im sorry but maybe the contact i sent u on fb can help/offer insight! :D

Karina Pineda hey!! nooo don’t worry at all, you’ll definitely still make friends:) there’s so many other ways to meet people than living on the hill. u can always join clubs or a sorority or meet ppl in class or other events like there’s always something new happening on campus so there will be TONS of opportunities to meet people. also the dorms experience truly varies for everyone so it doesn’t make or break ur social life whatsoever.. you’ll be good!!! see you in the fall:D

Hi!! I'm an incoming freshman and I have a question, if we can even get to go on campus in the fall lol. How likely is it to get a classic triple? I put that as my first preference because I wanted to have an easy time finding new people Also, do you have to join a sorority to find parties to go to?

hey amy!! we probably wont have irl classes in the fall BUT it's likely you'll get a classic triple for when we do come back! youre chances are higher if you found your roommates ahead of time and you all put triple as well but that isnt necessary:) also nope, not at all, girls get into all parties for free-- its guys that would struggle if not in greek life/other org

My dream school is ucla. I've been watching yt vids on if they get in or not, and ive been seeing really good students with great grade not getting in. Im absolutely terrified!!! If you could, can you say what helped you to get in? Like why you think they chose you. Does test scores count?? How much do they appreciate extra curricular? I really hope you respond!!!!!!

hey!! i did have good grades but i actually had test scores below the average and still got in. as for extracurriculars, i was active in sports and captain but that was pretty much it, nothing crazy. I feel like what made me really stand out were my essays, which I would focus on especially since test scores aren't a requirement for uc applicants until 2024 due to covid. hope this helps!! if you need any help lmk i'd be happy to help
