It’s like a big middle finger from the club he stupidly snubbed in 2022 for money, and I love it. He rejected us when he was invited to come to be the King, and now he will have to come as a soldier serving another king in the club. As Madriddista, currently I feel he is like the luxury we can afford rather than a neccesity. Back in 2022 we desperately needed Benzema’s successor, but now some voices are saying he might actually hinder the team by coming, and they may not be entirely wrong about that. We might have to sacrifice the development of Endrick and Guler just to accomodate him, and some fans are not quite happy about that.

Jude is out here playing three or four positions in every game doing all the work of four people so that Vini and all those other guys can do what they do. Also if you watched the Man City game, in the second half of extra time, it was Jude who picked up the pace of the game and started pushing City back and urging the others to follow up, hence Madrid actually dominated the second half of extra time after being dominated for 115 minutes He wanted to slit the throat of City and not go to penalties and he almost pushed the team to successfully do it if not for the wastefulness. Then in the penalties after the first penalty was missed, guess who stepped up to give the lads confidence? Jude. The way he stepped up, absolute confidence and belief. There was no doubt he was going to score. He didn’t let the pressure of the first miss get to him. After scoring, he egged on the fans and then went to the rest of the team and gave them push and a small pep talk and the confidence and belief was transferred to the rest of the team. There’s a reason he is the first name on Carlo Ancelotti’s team sheet every single time
