You Matter - End of Life Care in the Community

You Matter is a 17-minute film focussed on care in the last weeks of life in a community healthcare setting. A suite of educational materials have been created to support the film, including slide sets, handouts, notes for facilitators and evaluation tools. These can be used to deliver end of life care education for community settings, and includes specific modules on the following aspects of care:
• Preparing for a death in the community; including recognition of deterioration, prognostication, bereavement, cultural and spiritual issues
• Effective communication
• Making a plan of care for the last days of life
• Physical care in the last days of life
• Advanced Care Planning: discussions and decisions

This story made me cry. I know its made up, it's just the thought of losing a parent in hospice. I watched my mother die the same way.😢😢😢

Such a close minded son, I like to know if father exchange place with son, would he refuse pain killers?

No it messed my life up when they told me at the age of 18 I had 15 to 20 yrs. I am 50 now and waisted so many years being depressed and waiting for my symptoms to come back what a waist of life.
