Huskies game MVP was the team’s overall passing precision! The entire team’s passes were tremendous! Fundamental man-to-man defense, great to see with the big games upcoming.

Sarah Strong is so consistent that we don't probably talk enough about her. We knew about her scoring. Her passing is amazing. Her feel for the game and her anticipation is at an elite level. She is unselfish with the ball. Also, she seems very coachable and seems to respect her teammates. What I am most impressed with though, is her rebounding. She is always in the right spot, and if she gets her hands on it, nobody takes it away. Her defense is pretty good and getting better each game. Morgan is also a good rebounder and in the right spot to get rebounds. A lot of the time, they are both in the picture fighting for rebounds. Sarah gets the bulk of those because she is up higher with those long arms. Uconn got exactly what they needed with Sarah. And Morgan.

Last year Geno played Aubrey as his main off the bench forward to keep her minutes measured to address her past injuries. I expect the same strategy in 2025.

I don't think Aubrey should start in place of Caitlin Chen. They need Caitlin's ball handling and defensive tenacity on smaller players. You loose mobility and ball handling and some offensive half court offense with Aubrey. However, Aubrey is a better defender against players like JuJu who is too big for Caitlin. Neither are great shooters. For now, Aubrey should come off the bench to remove some pressure but progressively get more minutes.

If Aubrey takes the stsrting position fro. Kaitlin Chen, who will play point? It will either be Paige or Fudd. That will alter the scoring of the team.

Aubrey starting over Chen? No, I think in Geno's mind they play totally different positions.

Aubrey can play G for defense and F for offense and rebounding. That's a little unusual. Her transition game is also great. BUT, she needs some time to get fully up to speed. Her defense against Seton Hall was a bit lax compared to her teammates, and she was a bit indecisive when she had the ball. Those will improve, but it takes a bit of time.

If it's a shootout with one of the other good teams in the playoffs you might see Paige play point to get Ash in there. Or to get Aubrey in there against a bigger team.

Point guards ate not suppose to be the scorer for the team. Their main function is to facilitate. UCONN has a lot of scorers in the off guard small forward and power forward position. Remember, everytime kaotlin Chen takes a shot she takes the oppurtunity away from the scorers.

They have a lot of followers and do a lot of good for women's basketball. I always listen to their show. I don't agree with everything they say. People don't agree with everything I say or what a lot of other people on here say. It makes for a good show though.
