UCS IMPERIAL SHUTTLE!!!

After looking at this set for a few years now, I finally decided to pull the trigger. The 2010 UCS Imperial Shuttle joins the collection in the office. I am very happy to have it, but its massive size made it a challenge to fit on my shelf.

And let’s not forget the wide eyed stares your family members who see your collection give you and they’re like “omg you must have every LEGO set ever” when in reality it’s a tiny tiny fraction of them even tho you’ve got like dozens and dozens of sets 😂

Using a lot of pieces from my collection I was able to build it for around $200. I think even if you have to buy all the pieces from bricklink it's still cheaper to piece it together.

You made the right choice!! I bought mine when it came out and still love looking at it in my office. Don’t display it with the wings up, always down if it is going to be displayed for a long period of time. I’m going to order the led light kit for it.. I don’t have any videos up yet but you start soon.

I would show it in the same position as you have chosen, I think that is about the only way to show it in all its glory.

I think the placement is pretty bad I think the job of a display shelf is to have a neat area to display things adding the shuttle makes everything feel overly cluttered.
