"Uczmy Się Polskiego" (Let's Learn Polish) is a first professional, multimedia course in Polish as a Foreign Language. The course produced by Polska Fundacja Upowszechniana Nauki (Polish Foundation for Science Advancement) and Telewizja Polska SA (Polish State Television) is conducted under the auspices of the Minister of National Education. The scientific concept of the course was developed by Prof. Władysław Miodunka. Professor of the Jagiellonian University; who is an outstanding Polish specialist in the field of Teaching polish as a Foreign Language.
The course was designed as a TV series consisting of thirty episodes, each lasting thirty minutes. the episodes are accompanied by a coordinated coursebook. This approach allows for the introduction of linguistic layers as well as introducing Poland - a country of diverse landscape, fascinating architecture and cultural heritage. It shows all aspects of the everyday life of a Polish family. The DVD is recorded with a monolingual Polish track.

+Thuy Minh Nguyen I just looked it up (since the textbook doesn't give an English translation of the lyrics). It's a traditional Polish Christmas carol (in fact, it's considered by many to be the Polish national Christmas hymn). Here is the translation of the lyrics in English: 1. God is born and night is shaken He the Heaven’s King lies naked. The living Word knows brightness darkened, He the Limitless takes limit. Born disdained yet worship given, Mortal, yet the Lord eternal. Now indeed the Word made flesh Has come on earth to dwell among us. 2. What hast thou, O Heaven better, God abandoned thy perfection? Here to share the trial and sorrow Of His poor, beloved people. Suffered much and suffered dearly, For we all were guilty sinners, Now indeed the Word made flesh Has come on earth to dwell among us. 3. Born into a common stable, He is cradled in a manager. How then tell me what surrounds you Hay and peace and simple shepherds. You were ones who had the honor Him to greet, and kings came bowing.
