Udaipur Sharad Festival- Adieu to winters and Salutation to Summers

Lahaul valley also called Laa- god , yull - land which means the land of gods . This is the most beautiful valley of Himachal Pradesh. Every year in winters many traditional festivals are being celebrated in different valleys of Lahaul . Each valley of Lahaul has its own cultural festival and its significance. Most vibrant and cultural festival are being celebrated in Lahaul valley . This year Sharad Utsav was celebrated in keylong district headquarter of Lahaul and spiti and then celebrated in Udaipur which is a sub division and around 14 villages are there in Udaipur. This valley is one of the most beautiful valleys of Lahaul. Snow capped mountains, pine trees makes this valley much different from rest . This festival was inaugurated by Sh. Sukhvinder Singh sukhu C.M of Himachal Pradesh. Happy to witness the vibrant culture and tradition of Udaipur . I would like to thank Sh . Keshav ram S.D.M Udaipur Lahaul Spiti for giving me this opportunity to cover this festival.

1947 se phele udaypur chamba Mai aata tha.or ese chamba lahul ke nam se jana jata tha.

I think you should correct this Till 1975 Udaipur is part of Chamba. after that it becomes a part of Lahaul and recognised as Tehsil and later then as Sub division.
