What is even more interesting is that her formal qualification is a medical doctor and she is self taught programmer. There's this way she talks like she really does want you to understand, like she'll feel bad if you don't. Lol. And the the Live sessions afterwards (towards the end) was beautiful. What an amazing vid. I am not a developer or coder. But once I started I couldn't stop the video and kept watching till the end. I wish I was brave enough to sign up for $15, but financial situation is very bad in my country and I am simple/basic computer user. So sadly its not for me. Regarding protecting your app idea, I agree that the NDA seems unnecessary, but what happens after, when your app is successful? What if someone comes to you and says you should kill your successful app because they are the owner because they patented it yesterday?
