If your 2in1 receiver broke as did mine, then you'll probably buy another 2in1 or GO Brushless! Then you'll need a new receiver and unfortunately the lights will not plug into your new receiver. Here's your simple fix by MeHimRc 👍

I'm not the best with the electronic side of RC but I know my black wire from the red 🤣 When I found this out it made me chuckle, I use such crude methods to test electrics as you seen but I get by... Thanks for the info on your video, I'll give it a shot on the Typhon with the two receivers. Again I use cheap stuff so I hold no hope it'll work thanks again 🤙

@@mehimrc1314 I think it has a good chance of working. All receivers are engineer with the same basic engineering principles...well, except whoever designed the wiring on those lights 😂. Good luck and keep me posted on the outcome.

Great vid. Ive been wondering how to go about getting the lights working again after a few mods I have done to a couple of my RCs. Do you think that the wiring will be the same on MN and WPL models? Cheers Steve.

Hi Steve I'd rather not guess but do as I did. Buy one of those connectors I'll provide a link and get the button batteries aswell. Strip your wires back and test which way they work obviously start with the standard red/live black/negative...no go, switch them around. I've got more lights to blow so I ran the risk but in anycase (l e.d lights) have a forward voltage of 3v cant blow them unless you run say 9v with lights in series. What about the light on the rear?

Oh you rotter, well you see I through the rear light out by mistake ✋ swear it had me looking for hours. I imagine the the red is neutral and the yellow is live. Use an AA Baterry and check either direction, you cant blow an led with one 1.5v battery.
