These highlights don’t include enough. Unlike last match, we produced so many chances, the problem was that the finishing wasn’t there. Countless of times Havertz and Sterling movement was spot on in terms of receiving the chances but they just couldn’t convert. Just pray that they’ll be able to finish better when the season starts😂

It's his fitness and consistency that's the real issue there's no doubt about Kante he's one of the greatest players ever in his position but since the Europa League final he's been poor in terms of health and fitness. Not even close. He was always overrated in the Serie A as they always overrated centre backs. Van Dijk is the best CB in the world and that won't change. Laporte, Dias, Matip and Konate are all superior as well.

Liverpool got piped (like Chelsea) city have been so and so. Only the two dead red teams take preseason as an indicator of future outcomes because believe me when I say preseason has never and will never be the blueprint of what the season is. Chelsea historically haven't had great preseason games and I remember when we last won all our games in the 2015 summer pre season, we were favourites to defend the league title and lo and behold, we finished 10th that same year. So don't take it as gospel but it's good not to ignore the shortcomings in the squad.

Much better, much sharper. Link up play was looking nice, finishing could still improve. Sterling added a lot with direct running, not being afraid to drive at the defence and take people on and play riskier forward passes - we needed that a lot last season.

I think kai did good, depend on what contribution he did!! Playing as a st, is hard the defender are always on your shoulder and you must always creat spaces for the wingers. By forcing defenders to mark you. Creat an anchor for the play to built up, looking for that one touch goal. Before defender but there legs there. So i think for his attributes as a original winger playing As a Central forward, is doing great. Even the shots, are on target its not easy!! Trust playing with the likes of physical defenders in England league with his attributes its good!! In my opinion

Havertz was wasteful, take your chances when you can score easily. Mount, Kante, Koulibaly would be main players for next season. Having Alonso, Azpi does help with their experience. Sterling was good but he can be better and clinical.
