I got this exact same boat it's a ripper. I have six batteries for it 3000mah each and it goes great it you run it under 50c discharge rate it doesn't go into limp mode

Don't forget that one needs the flex shaft greesed before U go out. I've got one I've got 6 2600mah batterys and that's gives me heaps of run time

I just bought more 2200 mAh battery s and they fit perfectly so don't need to worry about rebuilding the battery tray

I know its not recommended but do you think this boat would survive saltwater if you showered it with fresh water immediatly after use? I have lakes nearby but would be so cool to try it out in the ocean as well :) The lid seems to be completely sealed from the looks of it.

I wasn't sure about it either so I got a the UDI009 for 45 bucks and its pretty sweet. It's cheap enough where if it sits its not that big of a deal... but boats are awesome!

Hello how are you!! Excuse me I have a question, a KZbin member posted that the udi005 has a problem with the cable drive shaft of the boat that breaks or rips very easily due that is made of braided wire not totally od steel. It's the only defect of the boat. Have you had an issue with the boat?

I have yet to have any problems with either of my boats. Both have given me problem free boating bliss so far. If I have any problems I’ll definitely make a video on them.
