Beautiful sound to match a beautiful looking synthesizer.

Finally!! I've been waiting on UJIIE to cover this since it came out! 🔥

I sometimes wonder if the western manufacturers remember this channel. I’ve seen a few products wheeled out recently with release day demos by the usual European and American suspects, but as far as demos go I consider Ujiie a top tier presenter, and they didn’t send him a demo unit. It’s not just geographical frustration, I guess, because I’ve seen Korg and Roland gear wheeled out with no demo available here. It’s weird.
Yes! A real modern classic! It’s inspired by various 80s synths, but it does its own thing! I suspect in 20-40 years, people will talk about it as they do with the Jupiter and Triton synths today :)

Здравствуйте уважаемый Катсунори. Вы отличный демонстратор и знаток синтезаторов. Спасибо, за показ очень интересного синтезатора, его возможностей.

Clearly a Roland fanboi product ;) So a good start. For someone with lots of money and zero synthesizers, it will make that person happy. Reads as JD-XA with Juno-106 directness, which isn't bad. The extra money buys more polyphony than needed. Also competes with Deepmind 12 of course. Wish the performance section had as many options as the 1984 Juno-106. Performance sections are neglected in all synth releases since then!! 😢But 12 polyphony analog is a great entry!

Fantastic demo! And your playing is wonderful :) you know how to get the best out of each preset! My Japanese is just barely good enough that, combined with the high number of synthesis loan words (filter, oscillator, etc), I could follow along just fine! I liked your explanation of the binaural feature.

UDO ウド Aralia cordata is an upright herbaceous perennial plant growing up to 2 to 3 metres in height, native to Japan, Korea and eastern China. Its common names include spikenard, herbal aralia, udo, Japanese spikenard, and mountain asparagus.
I do! Doing things in strange but compelling ways :)

Beautiful synth with the beautiful sound and nice presets. I noticed that it uses the OSC detune for the ... seven saw waves. Seven. Again. Is it a reverence to JP-8000 with it`s Super SAW or why for the Super 6 didn't made more waves? Anybody know? =)
@SPAZZOID1002 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t need it. The Super-6 is all about the Stereo Binaural feature.
@kaitlyn__L Жыл бұрын
The Super 6 actually has a lot of programmable digital waves :) a number of the presets use them! The waveforms on the front panel are the high resolution FPGA ones. But the far-right option on DDS1 allows you to select between dozens of wave slots. There are discussions to later allow using multiple slots at once for complex evolving wave-table sounds as well.

Well, sounds on this synth are largely delay and chorus effects. 🤔
