The birds patch is awesome. Great sounding synth. Thanks for sharing your work and experience with the Super 6

Informative and some lovely sounds from a great synth

Thanks James! It was fun just getting my thoughts out and having a couple of my favourite patches out there for others to hear. It feels and sounds grea :)

I just read the DDS oscillators have 50 MHz sample rates, that is insane

They are super clean! But still have character and a little bit of noise? In a great way though.

This is the best Super Udo 6 demo on KZbin. It actually shows the colorful character and others sound too compressed and bland

Which of the two would you recommend: udo or prophet6?
@mattypaxton3 жыл бұрын
Oooo.. for me. The U.D.O, its more flexible tonally and is only gonna get better as they refine the firmware. Prophet 6 though, so straight forward - great sounding. Good usable sequencer and arpeggiator. Can't go wrong

How do you save a patch. I’m having trouble figuring out that part. Loving this synth so far though
@mattypaxton3 жыл бұрын
Make sure you have "Patch" selected. Then choose which bank you want to save the patch to, then press and hold the patch number/button that you want to save to. There will be a moment where all sequencer/patch buttons flash and then it is saved :)
@howischris_3 жыл бұрын
@@mattypaxton so, if I start from a patch that’s already saved. I can press “shift” - “manual” - make a patch from scratch - then press and hold they patch I selected and that’s it? It’s saved? Feels too easy hahah. Also, trying to navigate the sequencer and understanding how to properly save and deep dive into that portion with the mod matrix. That would be a really helpful video. Going over the all the menu diving elements.
