This is Hakurei Reimu's and story mode early stages theme.
name "The World Is Made In An Adorable Way" / "世界は可愛く出来ている"
from Touhou 19 "東方獣王園 〜 Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost".
ZUN could've just said that this is a story mode theme. It'd make much more sense. This doesnt have to be Reimu's theme, but eh whatever.

Well I dont agree to that but at least the little bosses' sprites in this game are real adorable I have to admit. Especially Aunn's and Marisa's.
They aren't by ZUN though.

Which is hilarious because the title theme and the "waiting battle theme" are VERY ominous, like one of the darkest pieces of ZUN. He sure loves to play on contrasts.

Personally, this just sounds like a left over from Touhou 18.5. I really doubt ZUN'd give someone as a important as Reimu a song that doesn't reflect her in any way. Yes, it's composed well. Yes, I also doubt ZUN will want to make this many new songs for a Vs Game. Also people will always complain and prefer Maiden's Cappriccio or Spring Lane and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

ZUN's art has improved tremendously these past few years, even though the outsorced boss sprites are still better the only issue nowadays is that he still has trouble with head shapes I'm not entirely sure if the theme is exclusively raymoo's as it seems several boss fights have the same battle theme iirc... though I haven't seen enough of the demo to come up with a conclusion to that

i think it's a funny coincidence that all the Phantasmagoria incidents so far all have spirits/ghosts playing a major part of them, whether its directly mentioned in the story, or they're just the most common enemy.

I think this music fits Reimu's personality(?), the rest of her theme suits her fighting style, mood, etc. Yall got to snap back to reality, don't use the damn fandom wiki. Use the official one. Also let's know that Reimu's personality is not a youkai killing machine ffs. Also 2x the stage is some leftover from HBM unused assets. It sorta *fits* her but doesn't carry the same feeling as the themes she had before.

I'm not musician, but this theme really sucks. This song would be another bland stage theme if not the wrong use of instruments on 1:31, it's literal cacophony. Just in case, I really liked the light and fresh feel of Marketeers' soundtrack, even the composition was really decent. But since the black market themes have become gradually worse.
