It's beautiful. A town with such craftsmen would be happy. I always wonder, Japan is not a country with a small land area, but why do they use the space so narrowly? The countries that use the most space are probably the countries founded by immigrants from the UK, such as the US and Australia. Compared to them, it seems like they are using a very narrow space and putting up with it. Why?

Yes, Japan has limited land space. A large population compared to a relatively small land area. Due to volcanic geography, a significant percentage of Japan is covered by mountains, limiting available flat land for development. As a result, buildings are characterized by small spaces and compact infrastructure - particularly in cities, where space is at a further premium. 🗾⛰️
