IMO spee wasn't slept on he just was using similes to much and it got repetitive. Daylyt uses metaphors which not only make you think more but doesn't have repeat words. I:E spee kept saying "like a" in his lines to make a direct comparison. Daylyt sometimes does that but usually uses metaphors.
