it might me you floor or objects does not have collisions, and for mid air you can apply z-offset position or normal offset in the tool UI

When using the tool, it spawns objects from 1 point that is fixed and one point that is dynamic (the mouse cursor, working like the videos showcasing it) - anyone else having this issue where it's spawning from multiple points?

this is a recently found bug, you probably have more than 1 viewport opened, please make sure you have just 1 viewport while using the tool, until I fix it in the update

This isnsuch an incredible addon. Nice work for making this seriously. Can you select all objects and export them as a static mesh as either fbx, glft or usd?

in the UE5 editor there is an option to merge mesh actors into a single static mesh, and from there you can export it as an fbx file

Does this work for 5.3.2? Also, how do I paint with multiple actors. What is the sequence of clicks do in use in the Phys. Layout Mode?

yes it does, in paint place object section, you have list of objects at the bottom, you can add more reference mesh and just drag the mesh into the list and start paint placing!
