we miiiight be able to duplicate the m4 mesh and use UE Modelling tools to cut a plane through the mag and delete the mag to give it an "unloaded" look. Then spawn the unloaded m4 mesh with an anim notify, then spawn the original m4 mesh at the same time we use the ReloadWeapon anim notify. I've messed with the modelling tools a bit when they were first implemented in UE but I can't remember too much about how it works, but I'm gonna give it a shot and post what I come up with in the discord

wait a minute... In the M4 skeletal mesh there is a bone called b_gun_mag which, when moved with the translate tool, the mag does get removed. I imagine it has to be able to be used for proper reloading animations, especially considering its from the FPS weapon bundle free from Epic. I'll look into it

If the vid long the lesson is a good one if it’s short it’s to simple of a blueprint the longer the better the blueprint I say
