@lizzymasters7469 Жыл бұрын
@@SoftStoneGames yes. 3rd person game im making and i want to replace the mannequin with my custom character i made in blender. so far i used autorig, accurig and mixamo to rig my character but i had no success. i use gamerig it worked but i had to weight paint again the character for it to work.

@@SoftStoneGames seems that i need to do a bone retargeting so maybe you can make a tutorial about that. From Blender Model to Mixamo rigging and to unreal 5.2

In 5.3: Go to Enhanced Input and create a new Default Mapping Context. Create a new Input Mapping Context. Open the Input Mapping Context you just created (it's an asset in the content browser now) and follow the tutorial from here. At the step where we are modifying BP_ThirdPersonCharacter, add an EnhancedInputAction Run event (instead of Input Action). Expand the event and use "Triggered" for Pressed and "Completed" for Released.

FInally. Every other tutorial does RUN to WALK and you're like the only person I found that showed me the other way which I had been looking for. I tried to figure it out myself but I'm just a beginner atm Dx

Lifesaver! I’ve spent hours following very long videos and none worked. It’s crazy how simple this was. Thank you so much.

Thanks! Helped big time, I believe the newer version (currently 5.3.2) tells you to do it another way, I went to play around with it and got a bit stuck/confused. So I just followed your method and it still worked.

Thanks so much for this! Would it be easy to implement a toggle instead of a press/release? What do you think??

Yes, use the flip flop node instead of the release
