UE5 vs UE4 - UI comparison

This is the first look at UE5. I'm comparing the new UI with the old UI in UE4 and provides my thought about it.

Thanks for review. I do not like new interface ue5. it has become homogeneous and Flat. and looks more like Unity.

Ue4s ui looks like you're working in microsoft word 2006😂. ue5 is a slick plain minilastic design

@@tumimbasa1705 It was like that for a reason: usability. You could quickly find what you were looking for just by looking at a colorful icon. It takes more time to find small monocolored icons. And they put everything inside a menu bar? Is that a joke? I'd rather have a usable engine with ugly ui than a one with a fancy ui which slows me down.

Hi! My current hardware doesn't support UE5. If I learn UE4 first, will the learning curve be steep when I transition to UE5? What can I expect to be different? What will be the same? Thanks!

Not too many things. It has a new UI, which performs better, but inside it’s the same. Don’t worry, UE4 is a perfect polished tool , but UE5 is experimental buggy beta. Why do you learn UE? What kind of projects do you do?
