Gruss Nik

while music needs no translation, with speech it IS different. maybe Nicholas Senn should remember that they have fans all over the world. who like the music but do not understand the language, or better the Swiss - Dialect -. I am for instance one of them..Greetings from Moscow, Russia.

Swiss German is bizarre...if Germans have a hard time understanding it, how can foreigners understand?
@jupphitzfeld8631 Жыл бұрын
Bizarre? Foreigners? Maybe you want them to perform in Latvian, Arabic, Japanese and Swahili then, unless you're assuming all foreigners speak English? Like any language or dialect, Swiss German didn't develop so that Germans and foreigners could understand it. This music is about tradition. Anyway, I love them for their music, their talent, their characters and Melanie's voice. She already sings some songs in English, Spanish and French, how many more do you want? If I want to understand the Swiss German I'll get off my ass and learn the lyrics instead of moaning and complaining about a show that was aimed at a Swiss audience in the first place.
