I don't care if Leo is not #1 in the world anymore, he's had his multiyear reign and no one can take it from him. All I need is a set like this every now and then, where he somehow pulls a win out of nowhere and ends it with a 3-stock, and he'll forever be my GOAT. No one else makes comebacks like he does, man. Most fun player to watch win no contest. Also Basemage played really well, too! It must be so exhausting to almost get the set-winning edgegaurd five times in a row and watch Leo miraculously survive. Great set!

100%! Bass played great and has some fantastic games over top level competition but the GOAT is the GOAT, no shame in a loss against Leo. Still playing a rare character can get you some wins you probably shouldn't have, but bass is solid enough to not win strictly off that gimmick so.

Really unfortunate for bassmage. You could see the more invested he got emotionally the more sets he progressed. I feel like it changed his mental game and he wasn’t as patient as he was the first 3 sets.

Bassmage is a really good player, but this sort of game exemplifies how good of a player Leo is overall Leo just plays so optimally and consistent that whenever you get a stock lead against him it still doesn't really feel like you're in the lead cuz somehow your stock just vanished at one point and somehow he slowly whittled you back to even without even realizing it.
