I supported since his 2006. I was shocked when he lost to forrest gump but injuries aside no one can be shogun not even anderson silva. Anderson silva by far more technical and accurate than jones skinny legs.

Dana White and Joe Silva f**ckin up. This is how it shouldve went....Davis vs. Bader, Rampage vs. Forrest 2, Hamill vs Nogueira (I guess) and Jones vs. Evans...Machida..well don't know about his path..... I want Randy to win, but Machida needs to get back winning again too. Now if Evans loses, and Machida wins..maybe they fight again....now Ortiz and Griffin sounds good, but if Ortiz wins, that sets back Forest....somebody help me out in this division. It's too damn stacked!

@2lateforyou 6'4, 84.5 inch reach Jon Jones belongs in the heavy weight division. Brock and Struve fight in the heavy weight division because their physically natural heavy weights so is Jones, but for some reason he decides to fight at Light heavy weight... the reason is because his naturally larger body type gives him an advantage in that division over his opponents. Think about it.

War Shogun, this fight really could go either way as both are very talented fighters. I do however want shogun to win in a devastating fashion for 2 reasons,1- the guys a legend and always brings it,2- the bias shown by the ufc in the countdown show was sickening and a total lack of respect to shogun... Did anyone else notice this or was it just me?

@merced85 I didnt say Jones wasnt talented... I said he isnt as talented as everyone tries to make him out to be. Jones is just a 6'4 monster in the Light Heavy weight division. He man handles the smaller fighters cause he is a natural heavy weight who cuts to fight opponents smaller than him. Tons of fighters do it. It gives them an advantage.

@Xxx311zzz Jones is the "Shaquille Oneal" of the Light heavy weight division. The dude can fight, but he isnt amazingly talented he is just freakishly large for his division thats why he owns everyone he fights. Physically he is just a beast in that division thats why he wins.

@goku4113 Body image and fighting are two completely different things. Cain looked "soft" against Brock and we saw what happened. These fighters all have their own physique and it has nothing to do with their athleticism or fighting technique.

to be honest shogun, anderson silva, and other brazilian fighters should learn how to speak fluent english. Rafael Nadal once had a very hard time speaking english, but look at him now. it improves your image as a fighter alot.

Jones was too big, shogun gased, shogun was still injured, shogun was on his period; all lame excuses. People grow up. They both are professional fighters who get paid well to train and be at their best on fight night. Shogun was dominated and thoroughly beaten by a better fighter, Period! It was almost embarassing to see Rua fight Jones. I am sure Rua wont be asking for a rematch any time soon!!! Lol

As a small guy myself, Its really good to see a Bantamweight division. Those guys are explosive as fuck. Hopefully a flyweight division will be introduced. As for the main event;Jon Jones will win by ground and pound or submission. However, Shogun Rua is a very tough guy and is probably conditioned to the max. Should be one of the best fights in UFC History...

Jones is still in a young guy, and I hope he continues to work on his standup and stamina. Nevertheless happy about this win!
