You can make anyone look like a once in a lifetime talent if you put them against people who are just not on thier level. Lets take uriah hall on tuf. The way he was winning them fights made everyone believe he was the next big thing, but now hes against the same level competion (guys that are not even top 10) he isnt this unreal mma fighter we thought he would be. Not hating on him i actually really enjoy watching his fights, but just using him as a example. You see this stuff alot more in boxing, its all about promotion and money. They find someone who is different and easy to promote and they feed them easy competition. Ronda is a fantastic talent, i cant take that away from her, but the problem here is that dana opened the womans devision not because of the amazing talent pool of fighters there are, it was because if one person. It may be great now but when ronda goes the womans devision will nothing on the excitement scale.

UFC purchases Strikeforce in March 2011. Cyborg supposedly turned down the deal at that time. Cyborg tested positive for PED's in 2012 (or late 2011). She served her time, being suspended for a year. It is 2014. Can everyone just reset? And stop ignoring the strong opinion that Rousey/Cyborg is what everyone wants to see?

Dana has to have the best job in the world, to able to watch the best fights and promote these great events. But, his schedule must be grueling with constant traveling. I can't wait to see Weidman n machida on fs1 reloaded. I was disappointed with Rousy last two fights only cause they seem cheap. Paying for these cards and only getting less than a 2minutes a piece. After a while you either question the dedication of the fighter or management. Only by the standard of selling the hype and not showing enough skills on the stage. I see Dana yelling these young bucks on TUF to make it exciting or get out, just curious how if this continues if it will hurt Rousy legacy.

Think of it this way; Average Joe on the street would not be able to beat Serena Williams in a tennis match, because she is a professional in that sport and has trained for years and average Joe has never even picked up a tennis racket. Ronda Rousey's sport is fighting. Average Joe may be slightly stronger, he may even be naturally faster, but he has not spent years developing the skills required to beat her in a fight. She would destroy average Joe in a street fight. It's no different than the Tennis analogy.
