Nate Diaz was spot on with his trash talk the entire time. 1.You know he likes to get into his head. - pretend to not hear what he said, Nate constantly looked like he cannot understand or cannot hear what Conor was saying, getting on Conor's nerves. 2.You know he takes pride in his ethics. - accuse him of being a cheater, on using steroids. Nate knew this was not true and that's exactly what got on Conor's nerves, the lies. :)) 3. You know he takes pride in his humble origins (he worked as a plumber) - accuse him of being "born rich". That was just brilliant and if you take a closer look Nate actually gave away a smirk after that line, showing he knew that will affect Conor. 4.You know believing in himself is very important for Conor. - accuse him he does not believe in himself "even you don't believe that. you don't believe that", said Nate. :)) . Just brilliant...

I love Jake and Richard Perez but the one thing Nick and Nate have always been missing is a real Guru in their corner. Someone like Greg Jackson, Matt Hume or Farras from Tristar. Someone who puts the whole game together and can articulate exactly what to do during the fight and in between rounds. Shields gives the most basic advice. He's there for motivation really.

I was surprised Holm lost. But, if you want beat a multiple time world boxing champ you don't try to out-box her - Tate didn't try to do that, and beat her on the floor easily. I was not surprised McGregor lost - but I love his fire before a fight and his noble words after a fight, win or lose.

Nate has sent McGregor back to the smaller boys👍🏻 Breakdown: Nate took a beating in the first round, but that's what he's good at. Then he stepped it up in the second. Managed to land some on McGregor. Conor got hurt, probably not used to the bigger power 2 weight classes up, but tried not to show it. However, he had to back out and got frustrated that he couldn't hurt Diaz. Nate kept coming. Conor couldn't do anything but take it to the ground or get k.o.-ed. He was probably hoping he could make it to the end of the round that way. Bad choice as we all could see. You shouldn't take it to the ground with Nate Diaz. Especially not when you're hurt already. Respect to Nate. He kept and keeps real under all the tresh talking.

In one sense, weight classes exist for a good reason, and Nate is naturally bigger and has that advantage. In another sense, Connor isn't humble and will not stop trash talking. I feel these things evened each other out. A good match up, a good contrasting fight. Fighting weight classes up, and fighting people over your weight is a solid thing, Connor has respect for that. Always loved the guys in PRIDE that took out of weight matches, and the light guys that let full PRIDE rules go on when they were giving up 20+ pounds... Minowa all day.

+Adal Kidane Connor is way more conditioned than diaz? is this a fucking joke? dude does triathlons for fun mate, check what you say before making those bold statements, there is a reason why the diaz brothers usually win most of their fights in the later rounds.

Miro1239 he doesn't do triathlons every day. Conor stays conditioned on the daily! Nates constantly having issues with his weight, where as Conor works out 4 hours everyday. He was beating Diaz until he got rocked and lost his wind. That shit depletes your energy as soon as you get hit! I don't want to hear the bullshit excuses! Nate caught him and would have knocked Conor out if Conor didn't panic and shot on him.

He doesnt need to do them everyday bro, the fact that he still does them proves how well conditioned he is. every professional athlete needs to work out atleast 6+ a day. he wasn't beating diaz, diaz was just finding his range and is a slow starter just like nick. mcgregor was throwing bombs throughout the whole fight, and the fact that he added a lot of muscle wouldnt have helped his conditioning. diaz fighting style is quite slow but it adds up man before mcgregor shot on him diaz landed 15+ punches to the face. anywho diaz won after everyone was doubting a gracie jujitsu blackbelt fighting on the ufc for a long time.
