Conor is popular because he is a fighter that can entertain. He is suppose to lose the fight then he wins it and people say he fought a weak opponent. Lol. Conor makes it look easy. I like stipe, he is smart and kicks ass but he's not an entertainer. Look at the ppv numbers. Dana needs to show Stipe some love though, he deserves it.

Fight reminds me of Cain vs. Lesnar and DC vs. Rumble. The smaller, more technical fighter winning via skill. Ngannou might have the "hardest punch ever", but that doesn't matter when your opponent also hits hard, is durable, and has far more technical skill in MMA.

Blkzorro91 true. He needs to work on conservation of energy. He does plenty of cardio work if his training videos are accurate, he just needs to learn to not go all out from the start. As big as he is, it's not going to work out for him against those who can weather the storm and fight smart like Stipe.

i agree with you, i'm not Ngannou fan but i respect him so much for multiple reasons. Indeed, he has only 4 years experience against a guy who dedicated his life for this ! He needs to work on his gameplay as you said before, however the real issue is that a coach must have given at least correct guidance during his training camp.. Congrats the champ Miocic, you never fail your fans, i hope Ngannou will work on his weaknesses because he has a real potential in mma if only he doesn't focus on raw power =)

RVM Coates Francis got tired because stipe out boxed him in the first. Stipe was winning before Francis gassed. Look at all the punches Stipe landed on his chin. He was hurt and never recovered. Its harder to see marks on dark skin compared to light skin. You think Stipes knees and pumches to the body didnt hurt either.. Also Stipe has a day job and still destroyed a full time athlete training at the best facility in the world.
@newworldgrover8588
@newworldgrover8588 6 жыл бұрын
photo camera look Stipe is the GOAT but he out classed some dude who was one dimensional. Ngannou said he didn"t get hurt just tired (no bleeding, sweeling or scars). His dumb coaches don't understand the need for weight cuts or ice in the corner to lower body temperature. Lactice acid build-up caused the lethargy in his body and his muscles shut down period. If Stipe punches hurt why wasn't he knocked out? He could hardly lift his arms to defend himself. Ngannou has no ground game and could barely move but Stipe still could take him out. Hats off to Stipe but it was a very boring fight.

I've been an underdog my entire life and there's no better gratification that you prove people wrong, and he did just that to everyone did the quote impossible but he shut him down and put it on them the entire fight he made him look like he was an amateur. Great job Stipe!

He walked in with the belt, he walked out with the belt. Now all these "one punch wonders" can learn, if the "one punch" don't work, you're dead. Just like 'one punch" Gannoooo!

Actually, France didn't hype this guy, Dana/the UFC did, and they did so to get their first genuine African champ, not an Afro America, to hook the black African audience/market. Somehow Dana will organize his dream rematch, the UFC's "Rumble in the Jungle". Actually, hope it happens for Stipe who should demand Mayweather v McGregor money for such a fight!

diek - And head movement, foot work, combination punching, kicking, fight IQ, and his clinch. Then he'll be ready to smash everyone, and be too old to do it.

NOW...the Champ "comes out" of Stipe. Where's this Stipe Miocic been? Highlight of the night....seeing Dana Whites face as his "Monster Hype Machine" broke down like a 89 ford escort 3 minutes into the fight. Back to the drawing board for the marketing team....Now I just cant wait for the Patriots to lose 2moro and "Karma" strikes again.

You can tell Stipe felt disrespected by Dana and the UFC and I don’t blame him Francis is scary but they made him seem invincible with that KO power of his Stipe fought a smart fight and had the better game-plan he deserved that win last night.
