Incredible level of awareness during the fight. He was clearly focused on Brian yet was still keenly aware of the crowd, both corners, his son, and the broadcast bench. He's only 27 and shows the maturity of a seasoned and wise fighter (DC comes to mind) - yet he's playful like a kid. Now that's a champ you rally for. Even his potential opponents love the guy. LW title run is the next journey for the Blessed Express!

I don't care about the injury pullout for the Edgar fight, not being allowed to cut more weight for the late notice Khabib fight and not being cleared for the original Ortega fight. It seems like a lot but if you watched his fights in the last few years you should have known that Max was the real deal. It was crazy that Ortega was the favorite.
