I Love Anderson and Jon Jones as fighters. Israel is a good fighter, but he's not in the same class as Jon Jones. He did beat Anderson, but Anderson was old, and hasn't been in the ring in 2 yrs. So he really didn't beat Anderson, he beat Anderson's name. But this was a great fight.

@MrKayDeeTV
@MrKayDeeTV 5 жыл бұрын
Fight fans are so fickle, only in MMA can a fighter come into an organisation with over 100 fights and be considered to not have enough experience or called a ‘hype train’ people said he needed to face tough competition... “we’ll see if he beats Tavares”, he does. “Still needs to prove himself, we’ll see if he gets past Brunson”, he does. “Brunson isn’t high level, I bet he can’t even get past silva”, he does “Silva is past his prime, he didn’t do enough in there. He’ll never get past Gastleum, hype train is gonna get derailed”, almost finished gastleum multiple times and now people are saying he’s an ok fighter but he’ll never get past Whittaker. Regardless if he does or doesn’t can we just appreciate his skills and accomplishments as a fighter, during his time before the UFC and his time in the organisation.

I picked him to beat Gastelum but I still think he is a hype train. He almost got knocked out twice by a guy that he had a ten-inch reach advantage against and that literally played directly into his strengths. Dude was on Bambi legs and Gastelum had him against the fence, could've finished him but decided to shoot a sloppy takedown and hold his legs until he recovered. Not hating, the guy is a supremely good striker and he is exciting to watch, but i am not sold that this guy is the next potential goat like they are hyping him. Dude is a blue belt in jiujitsu, what is he gonna do when he faces a legit grappler that can actually take him down? This is mma, not kick boxing.
