The Brazilian crowd are always great but i feel like they were cheering in this event for the fun of it because they didn’t have an event for almost three years so i would understand it, But I was also surprised when the broadcast cuts to the Brazilian fighters between fights and no reaction from the fans

More than disappointed with the Jamahal vs Glover breakdown (not only here but everywhere). Most were picking Hill by KO in the first two but if going past that would be Glover by sub or dec, as Hill wouldn't be able to have the TD defence after the first couple rounds. Everyone has praised and debated the toughness of Glover and almost glazed over the bigggest surprise of Hill's TD defense and ability to scramble and get back up. Feels like Sweet Dreams win has been overshadowed by the amount of damage Glover took.

33:40 to me, the sport is moving more and more toward the PFL. Been saying it for quite a while now that the potential is there for the PFL to be the future lead MMA organization and could be key for breaking the sport further into the mainstream alongside NFL, NBA, NHL. The tournament like schedule that veers from popularity speak to what people are more used to with the regular seasons and playoffs of the 3 prior mentioned NFL NBA and NHL. I see more and more fighters going there while the UFC remains on top but I wonder if something down the line is coming like we’ve seen in the past where organizations dissolve for one reason or another and the fighters go elsewhere. It’s very interesting to me what the future holds for the sport and the people surrounding each current major organization. To me, it’s almost like the organizations help one another through worldwide promotion of the sport and it’s getting to the point where major steps are in front of us. I’d personally love to see a deal between a company that makes ice hockey (possibly specifically goalie) equipment get into the business of mma pads/gloves to help break into the Canadian market. I believe sales could be big. Dang man this podcast never fails to get my brain going! Hope you guys are doing well and nice work on the new deal! Well deserved and plenty in store in the future for you guys no doubt!
